I am writing to urge you to support an Iran war powers resolution as soon as possible. America does not want more wars of choice, and we sure as hell don’t want to be bombing someone every time it suits Trump’s whims. There’s no imminent threat to us, and it’s not even clear why the administration wants to attack. Is it for regime change, to protect protesters, to stop the nuclear program they said was obliterated? This is ridiculous and dangerous. And it’s not how a democracy is supposed to go to war. Thank you for your time and consideration.
