Why did congress just side step the normal budgetary process to pass more funding for ICE?! You’re on the appropriations committee and this is how you think our tax dollars should be spent? On the American gestapo? Are they making the country safer?! Because I’ve seen them shoot two American citizens with no kind of accountability! I’ve seen them take a 5 year child, a CHILD! How can any educated person think what they’re doing is making this country (a country built by immigrants might I add) any better?! Why not give that money to education or healthcare or even roads for goddsake. You are meant to be a good steward of our tax dollars and you just used it to fund a brutal secret police force who can’t even show their damn faces. Shame on you and all of your colleagues who pushed this through the back door, THIS IS NOT DEMOCRACY! I hope when you’re looking back after a midterm loss in November you look back and ask yourself if selling your soul was worth it.
