This insults the men and women in uniform who put their lives on the line for national security. American taxpayers do not fund the Department of Defense to subsidize partisan posturing, internet memes, and a political troll army. Utilizing defense-appropriated funds to reward partisan allies is corrupt, legally dubious, and degrades the integrity of our armed forces. Hegseth’s leadership is a national embarrassment and a blatant threat to non-partisan military ethics.
