The House version of SB9 was perfect. Don't redefine obscenity to be more broad.

To: Sen. Watson, Rep. Williams, Gov. Kemp

From: A constituent in Hinesville, GA

January 30

The House version of SB9 would have protected us from interference in state elections and kept us independent. As a constituent I am asking you to undo the rejection of the house version of SB9 and oppose and redefinitions of obscenity. Obscenity laws did not prevent my sexual assaulter from acting. They should not only be more narrow in scope, but should be discarded in favor of directing resources towards helping victims and holding assaulters accountable.
