Don't cave on the shutdown! The longer Dems hold out, the more pressure there is to get the GOP to the negotiating table. They have no leverage on Health Care. They don't have a plan. Call them out for this repeatedly. We can fix the broken ACA later but for now, let people suffer. Voters NEED to be pissed enough for long enough to know who is truly responsible - Donald Trump. You need to keep drilling this home day after day until Republicans realize Healthcare is now their issue to solve, which they obviously will not. This will work in Dems favor because people do ultimately see Trump as the leader of this country and the more dysfunctional it gets the more it can be blamed on him. It's clear that Virginia elections were a rebuke to Trump and Trumpism. The federal govt shutdown pisses off so many people and affects so many people that it will only become more and more obvious that Republicans have absolutely ZERO compassion. Stand strong and don't give in yet. There are many more weeks ahead to watch the country to WAKE UP. If we make it to Thanksgiving and people's flights are all jacked up because of the air traffic controllers not being paid, so be it. People need to know what the consequences of not negotiating are. You can't negotiate with liars, but you can beat them at their own game by winning. Just be patient.....
