The trade war with Canada needs to end, and you have a responsibility to push back against it. Canada is one of our closest trading partners, and these tariffs are not punishing Ottawa — they are punishing American families and businesses through higher prices and supply chain disruptions. This is not a winning strategy. It is economic self-sabotage. I expect you to use every tool available — legislation, public pressure, budget leverage — to rein in these tariffs and restore a functional trade relationship with Canada before the damage becomes permanent.
