I am writing you to urge you to vote NO ON HR867, extending the anti-boycott provisions voted on in 2018 to obscene levels. It is the right of US citizens and organizations to organize boycotts of companies and countries that perpetrate or benefit from brutality and oppression. Israel is conducting mass murder and one of the tools we have as citizens who are of course paying for this bloodshed with our tax dollars is to organize boycotts and pressure to divest. Penalizing organizations that participate in this actions will only inflame your constituents. This bill reads as well-intentioned but is another example of government overreach. Vote NO.
