SB79 is dumb as hell. Give it a break! Gender is a spectrum like anything else so why are you trying to define it into law?? If men and women were actually treated equally, there would be no need to define the difference. All you’re doing is bringing attention to a vulnerable trans community, real people, constituents in our state, for harassment, bullying, and discrimination. SB79 by Sen. April Weaver, R-Brierfield, and Rep. Susan DuBose, R-Hoover, defines a female as someone whose reproductive system produces ova and a male as someone whose reproductive system produces sperm. The new law says state and local government agencies can establish separate single-sex spaces or environments for males and females when biology, privacy, safety, or fairness are implicated. - Signed, a woman
