Threats to democracy, women’s reproductive rights, and critical social programs in the wake of the 2024 election. In the 2024 election, more Americans voted against Donald Trump than for him, showing that his vision does not represent the majority. With 156 million votes cast and a 63.9% turnout, the results highlight the need for unity and policies that reflect the will of the people. Project 2025, backed by extreme conservative forces, poses a direct threat to our democracy by expanding presidential power and undermining essential freedoms. Additionally, attacks on women’s reproductive health continue to erode personal rights, and we must take a stand to protect access to abortion and ensure bodily autonomy. There is also a growing threat of oligarchic control over essential programs like the ACA, Medicare, and Social Security. The push to privatize or weaken these programs would harm millions of Americans who depend on them for healthcare and financial stability. Foreign interference, including from Russia, continues to threaten the integrity of our elections. We must stay vigilant and take action to protect our democracy. We must safeguard democracy, protect women’s rights, and defend our social safety nets. I urge you to act in the best interest of the American people.
