I'm horrified by ICE's shooting of an innocent bystander in Minneapolis today. It was murder, pure and simple. We can't go on like this. The federal government under Donald Trump is not making us safer. These ICE officers are poorly vetted and untrained. They enter communities belligerently, with no deescalation training (or inclination) and no proper legal arrest warrants. It is causing chaos and violence in our neighborhoods. No more! Congress needs to act-now! ICE needs to be defunded, Kristi Noem needs to step down, and that ICE officer needs to be arrested and charged TODAY.
