The middle class is struggling. The poor are struggling. The only reason to not extend the ACA SUBSIDIES and fund SNAP is so wealthy donors can pay less in taxes. Since the inception of the ACA SUBSIDIES there have been less personal bankruptcies. This is backed by evidence available on the NIH WEBSITE. When people have access to health insurance, they get early screenings and better preventative care. This is a SAVINGS to the government and American taxpayer as more people are able to avoid poverty and need for additional assistance. You must speak with your colleagues RIGHT NOW and remind them that all AMERICANS deserve benefit from their tax dollars, not just the rich.
