Speak out publicly and take action to protect the independence of the Federal Reserve. Donald Trump has openly discussed firing Fed Chair Jerome Powell for his own political gain. This is a dangerous threat to the stability of our economy, and it undermines the rule of law. The Federal Reserve must remain free from political interference. I’m asking you to defend that independence—and make it clear that no president is above the law. Thank you for your time.
