The White House has published a taxpayer-funded "Media Offenders" page that lists journalists and independent content creators who have criticized the Trump administration, labeling them "deranged leftists" and "known liars." This is government-sponsored intimidation, and I need you to speak out against it and push for its immediate removal. People on that list are receiving death threats and being advised to get legal counsel. That is not a side effect — that is the point. The chilling effect is the message. And this isn't isolated: DHS tried to obtain Don Lemon's subscriber list through a warrant, the House Oversight Committee subpoenaed records of every creator who joined the nonprofit Chorus, and the DOJ subpoenaed Reddit and X for the identities of people who anonymously criticized ICE. This is a coordinated pattern of targeting dissent, and it looks nothing like a free country. A majority of Americans now get their news through social media. Independent creators who break down policy, challenge official narratives, and reach audiences that traditional media doesn't are doing exactly what the First Amendment protects. When the government tracks and publicizes critics by name, democracy is the target. Use your platform and your vote to stop this.
