Please propose legislation to reform the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878. As a constituent living on the border of Chicago, I am very concerned that President Trump will use Section 502(f) of Title 32 to bypass the Posse Comitatus Act and send National Guard members on a police mission to Chicago. While this Act is an important guardrail Congress is reluctant to touch, it's clear that reform is urgently needed to close that loophole from future abuse.
