I am one of your constituents concerned about the recent wave of government dismissals orchestrated by Unelected President Elon Musk. Thousands of terminations have been reported, affecting crucial areas such as federal lands and veterans' care. As a democracy, we should be concentrating on the interests of the citizens rather than the whims of a few powerful individuals. It distresses me to witness this tech oligarchy potentially threatening our democratic foundations. I would like to propose a three-step plan: 1. Have hearings, gather information on disrupted grants and funds across all congressional districts. 2. Encourage bipartisanship to enact a bill that enforces the original spending designation of these funds. 3. Hold accountable those who do not follow through on this spending, as it would constitute a breach of law. Musk cannot make the excuse that no one is left to manage these program. It's crucial that the impact of these actions on everyday Americans be brought to light through all available platforms. Our 248 year democratic experiment is too precious to be put at risk. It's our duty to protect the interests of all Americans, not just a select few. I look forward to hearing your plans regarding this critical issue.
