Reject pseudoscience, uphold evidence-based transgender healthcare standards The HHS review on transgender healthcare represents a biased, politicized attack lacking scientific rigor. It relies on discredited theories like "rapid onset gender dysphoria," mischaracterizes psychotherapeutic approaches as "conversion therapy," and equates appropriate medical care with harmful ideological agendas. Major US and European medical bodies have issued guidelines reaffirming gender-affirming care as the recognized standard, thoroughly debunking the central premises of this review. TPATH and WPATH are US organizations that have provided guidelines that protect the health and welfare of trans kids and adult. Protecting the civil rights and wellbeing of transgender individuals requires rejecting pseudoscientific misinformation and upholding evidence-based practices supported by mainstream medicine and human rights principles. Stand up for the rights of trans people.
