Refuse to seat more cabinet members until DOGE is stopped

To: Rep. Clark, Sen. Warren, Sen. Markey

From: A constituent in Framingham, MA

February 9

Your outrage over Elon Musk's unelected and unaccountable acquisition of power over the U.S. financial system is understandable and justified. It is unconscionable that an unelected billionaire has been granted unfettered access to systems that move trillions of dollars and contain sensitive data on all Americans. This is a severe breach of democratic principles and an alarming overreach of private interests into public affairs. Immediate action must be taken to revoke Musk's access and institute stringent oversight measures to prevent any further exploitation of government systems by corporate entities or individuals lacking a public mandate. The American people deserve full transparency on the scope of Musk's activities thus far and assurances that their private information and vital financial infrastructure remain secure from malign private influence. Our elected representatives have a duty to zealously guard public interests against encroachments by the wealthy and powerful.
