The involvement of conspiracy theorists and extremists in decisions affecting our national security threatens to undermine America's standing and endanger citizens. Seasoned experts dedicated to safeguarding the nation should not be purged based on unfounded loyalty tests from fringe ideologues. I urge reconsideration of these reckless dismissals and a return to staffing key roles with qualified, non-partisan professionals committed to facts and America's best interests, not radical agendas. Our security depends on competent leadership, not indulgence of unhinged voices spreading disinformation. The American people deserve better.
