ICE has crossed the line to deporting US citizens. They continue to ignore a 9-0 Supreme Court ruling requiring due process before any removal from the country. They continue to ignore numerous restraining orders enjoining them from specific removals. This week they deported a two year old citizen in violation of a judge’s specific order and despite the child’s US birth certificate in evidence. In no uncertain terms, I demand that you as my elected representative get control of Trump’s unchecked regime. Put a stop to absolutely everything in government until such time as either Trump obeys the law and the courts or he’s removed from office. Zero cooperation on budget, zero compromise on any legislation. Shut down Medicare, Medicaid, every program of government until the we are once again a nation under the rule of law with checks and balances between the three co-equal branches. It is unacceptable that you as my elected representative continue to enable a de facto king. We’re on a precipice beyond which there will be no democracy left in the US and beyond which your role in Congress can be nothing more than a figure head meaningless position. Continued meeting in the middle and working together with fascism is enabling a king and destroying the USA. Use your power to stop this, not enable it.
