I am contacting you today about the hidden hemp ban that was passed upon the government reopening. I am concerned that gutting this industry will lead to a multi-billion loss of revenue across the country. This ban will also effect millions who have found many health benefits from hemp-derived products (both CBD and THC). From managing physical pain to calming the symptoms of mental health issues, these hemp-derived products have become a staple of American wellness. I'm not ignoring the recreational uses aside from the beneficial, either. Compared to alcohol, THC products have been proven safer for the consumer. Please consider protecting the hemp industry from top to bottom, and consider regulating THC products in a similar vein of alcohol and tobacco. Thank you for your time.
