We cannot kick the can down the road and hope that someone else will enforce justice. The damage that Trump has done to confidence in the U.S., in justi ce, in fairness... in science, in education... our democracy may never recover. And Republicans seem to be satisfied with their tradeoff that they retain power at the moment. Rubber stamps for the new dictator. It's surreal. o believe that somewhere, rational adults would prevail. The amount of corruption that has taken over so quickly is astounding: I can only assume that Republicans have accepted that democracy is over and are clawing for their piece of the pie as we descend into darkness. I used t Jan 6, Epstein files, ICE entering homes without a warrant... ad nauseam. It's the Nazi playbook. We know you know what is happening. This is going to dissolve into a civil war if you so called "co-equal" branches of government don't keep kicking this old can down the road again. It's just terrible. I have no trust in anything in the government. How do we know that the IRS is not going to penalize us or steal from us if Trump is in charge? It has seeped into everything. CDC? Vaccines? Everything that generations of people worked on the establish non-partisan trust in impartiality... it's gone. Is anyone concerned? What are we waiting for?
