I received one of your campaign mailers yesterday. In it you claim you are working to support Maine’s healthcare needs. How can you claim that when you are supporting Trump’s illegal war in Iran? How do you think he’s going to fund $1-$2 billion per day? Republicans running the House and Senate have ceded all their oversight power to President Trump’s whims. Now we are spending an almost incomprehensible amount of our treasure and risking the lives of thousands of American troops to satisfy Trump’s promises to Israel, Gulf state billionaires, and Putin. How can you say with a straight face that Trump is justified in conducting this war that has not been declared by Congress? You have abdicated your responsibilities to your Maine constituents. You should be honest with us and step away from the re-election campaign you are conducting. I voted for you more than once, believing that you were advocating for our needs. It is now clear that you are only advocating for Donald Trump’s desire to take all the wealth he can from the American people before he is forced from office. Grow a spine, Senator. Stand up to the American oligarchy.
