Proposed OMB rule on voter registration opposes the NVRA. Despite the White House's apparent confusion, neither Trump nor Vought write law. This absurd rule would literally run counter to the requirements laid out in the National Voter Registration Act and create chaos for federally funded organizations with voter education and access mandates. It will actively discourage public behavioral health systems from meeting their NVRA standards. It will help to prevent disabled voters in congregate settings from exercising their right to vote. We are sick of Trump and Vought's attempts to contravene Congress. We are sick of incessant chaos and confusion. We are sick of being governed by people who couldn't pass high school government. Stand up, Congress. Impeach and remove Russell Vought. Impeach and remove Donald Trump and his cronies. Take back the power of the legislature. We don't want their little "Midterm Surprise" or their budget sabotage.
