No to HR 4218

To: Sen. Warnock, Rep. Carter, Sen. Ossoff

From: A verified voter in Richmond Hill, GA

February 3

I am a Georgia resident writing to urge you to vote NO on H.R. 4218. This bill weakens critical Clean Air Act protections and opens the door for increased industrial pollution across Georgia. Of particular concern is how H.R. 4218 could enable further environmental harm in coastal and southeast Georgia, including Bryan County and surrounding communities, especially in relation to the proposed Westwin nickel refinery. Clean air protections exist to safeguard public health, protect vulnerable communities, and ensure responsible economic development. Rolling back these protections places an unfair burden on local residents while prioritizing industrial interests over long-term health and environmental stability. As it moves to the House floor — and potentially the Senate — I strongly urge you to stand with Georgia communities and oppose this bill. Please vote NO on H.R. 4218 and protect our right to clean air. Thank you for your time and consideration.
