I am writing with grave concern and fear about the news that ICE agents are going to be armed with silent, invisible shock gloves. According to new reporting, DHS is ordering these gloves through a no-bid contract (surprise surprise). As we know well, ICE agents go rogue - they do not follow procedures or standards, and they are brutally violent, with frequent terrible consequences. These gloves, once acquired and in use, will be very dangerous in/on the hands of ICE agents. Training is not the answer. YOU must stop the gloves from becoming an accepted tool of any law enforcement agency, but especially ICE.
