We, the undersigned, demand that the U.S. government stop using our tax dollars to fund violence abroad while slashing life-saving healthcare at home.
Recent budget proposals include devastating cuts to Medicaid—introducing work requirements and co-pays that threaten the lives of millions. At the same time, Congress continues to funnel billions into military aid for Israel, despite its ongoing bombardment of Gaza that has killed tens of thousands of Palestinians, including thousands of children.
We stand with Ben Cohen and every voice of conscience calling out this immoral prioritization of war over wellbeing. Arresting peaceful protestors only confirms the urgency of their message.
We demand:
* No cuts to Medicaid or other essential programs.
* A halt to U.S. military aid that enables human rights violations in Gaza.
* Congressional hearings on the humanitarian impact of our military funding.
* Protection for whistleblowers and peaceful protesters.
Congress, your budget reflects your values—and right now, it shows cruelty, cowardice, and complicity. We refuse to stand by.
