I know you are getting multiple appeals to "defund ICE." The fact is that ICE is enforcing the immigration laws of our country. Without their efforts, being a citizen of the US means nothing. I served the US as a career military officer and continue to serve as a primary care provider for our veterans. I struggled to hold my tongue during the Biden "Open Borders" years. I watched as our country succumbed to the insane "open borders" ideology. We need a strong immigration policy if our country is to survive. We can certainly debate policy and tactics, but at the end of the day we need to stopbillegalnimkigration and rid our country of those who skirted our laws. I am certainly saddened by the loss of US citizen life during the illegal obstruction of ICE enforcement actions. But we need to acknowledge why those individuals were doing was illegal. Obstruction of legally enforcement actions is a felony. They are NOT martyrs and do not represent the best our country has to offer. I ask that you disregard the obscene calls to "defund ICE" or eliminate it. I ask that you refrain from demonizing the brave men and women of ICE and CBP trying to protect our country. Stop the name calling. Stop the fake outrage. Do what is best for our country and our citizens. Support lawful immigration enforcement. Support a strong border. Protect our country from being systematically bankrupted by illegal immigration.
