I am a Federal employee of HUD outstationed in Seattle writing to request that you do not cave to the threats of massive RIFs if there's a shutdown. Do not pass a bill that doesn't protect Healthcare. Democrats are not forcing a shutdown and shouldn't give into the intimidation. They clearly don't need a shutdown to RIF us as they've demonstrated by decimating HUDs workforce since February. As your constituent and a Federalemployee, please don't pass a bad bill because of these threats.
