ICE is illegally using private contractors like G4S Secure Solutions to carry out immigration raids—actions that violate federal law under 8 U.S.C. § 1357(a), which prohibits non-deputized agents from conducting immigration arrests. Lawsuits and reports show G4S agents are operating without warrants, badges, or proper authority, targeting individuals in jails and prisons while ignoring court rulings and due process protections. This is unlawful and unacceptable. Congress must immediately ban the use of private contractors in immigration enforcement, require visible ID and legal warrants for all arrests, and hold ICE accountable for these violations. Law enforcement must be legal, transparent, and constitutional, not outsourced, masked, and illegal.
