Vote Against the SAVE ACT

To: Sen. Schumer, Sen. Gillibrand

From: A constituent in Brooklyn, NY

February 14

Without a provision establishing free Voter ID cards, the SAVE act is a pill tax and must not be passed into law. Further, the barriers this act establish prevent voters from going to the polls rather than encourage more citizens to vote. While I am for voter ID, this needs to be fair and equitable as well as free to the citizens. Republicans clearly want fewer people to vote. Please vote against this legislation until this does in fact include free ID's as well as encourage rather than discourage voters from going to the polls
