End Houston's use of Flock cameras. The program has proven it cannot be trusted in the hands of law enforcement, and the evidence is piling up across Harris County.
A former Katy officer, Sergio Guadalupe Rodriguez, was arrested for using the Flock system to stalk his ex-wife and placing a tracker on her vehicle. HPD is now investigating its own officers for potential policy violations after Flock's own algorithm flagged suspicious usage patterns. The Houston Police Officers' Union president openly acknowledged he "wouldn't doubt" there are stalking cases among HPD officers. That's not a training problem. That's a surveillance system being weaponized against private citizens by the people sworn to protect them.
Houstonians did not consent to being tracked every time they drive down a public street. Shut this program down before more people are harmed.
