I am a constituent writing to make clear: I am OPPOSED to ANY cuts to MEDICARE and MEDICAID. I believe these programs are critical and vital and should be IMPROVED, not cut. MY FAMILY relies on Medicare and Medicaid for health care. These programs also save us money because caring for the sick and elderly in preventative ways has been proven to be far less expensive than emergency care. I am truly furious and appalled that our elected leaders are trying to pay for incredibly unnecessary expensive items that obviously benefit private contractors and companies with cuts to programs that actually help people.
