Hello, I’m writing today as a former Democrat, currently registered Independent in AZ district 9. What Chuck Schumer has done, helping Republicans pass legislation to avoid a government shutdown without securing any concessions or any limits on DOGE has left it wide open who he serves - his monied interests and wall street. Chuck Schumer was negotiating for the wallets of his corporate sponsors. The Democrats need to do better and be better than this. He got nothing in return. He needs to be removed from Senate minority leader and I’m looking to you to voice objections to his kowtowing and support a more progressive leader for the party. If you are not willing to fight for leadership that is going to stand up for democracy, you can consider me a lost vote for your next election even if it means losing to Republicans. The Democratic Party can no longer afford to take the high road when the other side is not even playing by the same rules or in fact even, the same game. Do better. Be better. Represent the anger in your districts and your constituents. DC
