I am writing to demand the immediate and complete release of all Jeffrey Epstein files as Congress mandated. The Department of Justice missed the December deadline set by Congress and has only released a partial set of documents, leaving the public in the dark about the full scope of Epstein's crimes and those who may have been involved.
Representatives Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna, who introduced the bipartisan legislation requiring these files to be released, recently sought to appoint an independent monitor to oversee the process after the administration failed to comply. A federal judge rejected this reasonable request, effectively allowing the administration to continue withholding information despite campaign promises to release everything. This is unacceptable.
The timing of recent events raises serious concerns about whether the administration is deliberately creating distractions to avoid accountability on this issue. While ICE raids and fraud investigations in Minnesota dominate headlines, the Epstein files story has been pushed aside. Even prominent voices like Joe Rogan have questioned whether this timing is intentional, noting on his podcast that the administration appears to be using these events to drown out attention on their failure to deliver transparency.
The American people deserve the truth about Epstein's network and anyone who participated in or enabled his crimes. This is not a partisan issue. It is about justice for victims and accountability for powerful individuals who may have escaped scrutiny for far too long. Campaign promises were made, legislation was passed, and deadlines were set. None of that matters if the files remain hidden.
I urge you to take immediate action to ensure full compliance with the congressional mandate. Support efforts to appoint an independent monitor, demand answers from the Department of Justice about what remains unreleased, and publicly commit to transparency on this issue. The cover-up must end now.
