Trump in his own words is crashing the stock market on purpose. He stands for, and has always stood for, Running Government Like a Business … but it’s running government like a business HIS WAY. His lack of business success and his corrupt, manipulative, swindling influence bear this out. His Russian ties throw treason in the mix, since his destabilization of America and his placing the least qualified into leadership positions, give aid and comfort to Vladimir Putin’s desires to see America’s government fall. He and Steve Bannon and so many actually want to destabilize the government, and they have said so publicly. When I was a civilian DoD employee for 33 years and change, I saw the changes that took place in Running Government Like a Business, the destructive effect that had. I was noticing this even while I was cross-training in technical skills that multiplied my productivity by a factor of 10, as evidenced by commendation I received from customer offices. BUt I spoke up in internal social media forums about the problems I saw, and the loyalist culture that pushed people toward the management track. That in addition to my career field change meant that for the last 19 years of my career there, I got no promotion/raise. I was stuck at Grade 13 Step 10 for many of those years. It adversely affected my retirement income, and now we are struggling with our loans. Wife gets Social Security, now threatened by Trump. Recognize treason as treason. Recognize the domestic threat that Big Business and Corporate Personhood have become. Refuse and refute the manipulative claims of the rich and powerful, who use techniques from guerrilla warfare (propaganda and psychological operations) against our citizens. Do so even if it hurts your own financial bottom line. You are in government, as I was, to make our country better, not pad your own pockets. Trump hates the weak and the vulnerable. His “Special Government Employee” Elon Musk has no use for empathy, except when he whines he’s not getting enough of it from us. I am tired of paying taxes for a government that, in the name of Running Itself Like a Business, isn’t working. Not in Justice, or Defense, or in sentencing a convicted felon with practical consequences and keeping him off the ballot so we, the mere human being voters, don’t have to try and fail to fix the problem. Do something. I am one FED UP RETIRED FED.
