I was shocked and outraged when Judge Hannah Dugan was arrested on what are clearly trumped up, politically motivated charges. Now the Trump regime says it will indict Dem Rep. LaMonica McIver, alleging assault outside of an ICE facility. We are watching this administration mis-use their power to attack a judge and a Congresswoman whom they feel are not 100% supportive of the administration. This is clearly an attempt to intimidate and threaten all of us. If elected officials can be arrested for political reasons, what is in store for us ordinary citizens? The Trump administration is misusing the DOJ and subverting our democracy. I expect Congress to step up and assert itself against this takeover of our country by this would-be dictator and his authoritarian regime.
