I suppose it was foolish of me to have hope that perhaps finally the Democrats in Congress had developed backbones and committed to standing up to the fascists in a substantial way. I am outraged that eight Democrats voted to move forward a CR that does NOTHING for the American people. The promise of a vote on ACA subsidies at some later date isn't worth the paper it isn't written on, and you all know it. It's not too late to reverse course. Talk to your colleagues. Make them see reason. If Schumer supported the outcome of last night's vote, he's a feckless coward who isn't up to the moment and needs to go. If Schumer didn't support the outcome of last night's vote, then he's a weak minority leader who can't keep his members in line and needs to go.
