75% of the people disappeared to Salvadoran prison have no criminal record

To: Sen. Blackburn, Sen. Hagerty, Rep. Ogles

From: A constituent in Nashville, TN

April 8

75% of the disappeared people that were kidnapped off the streets by unidentified, masked ICE agents did not have criminal records. These are people that are not the worst of the worst as President Trump claimed on the campaign trail. They are guilty of having “mom” and “dad” tattoos or even an autism awareness tattoo. That’s it. That is their crime. Meanwhile, our Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth is covered in White Nationalist and Christian Nationalist tattoos and is allowed to break countless laws with absolutely no repercussions. These people being disappeared off the streets deserve due process. They do not deserve to be kidnapped, not allowed a phone call or attorney, tortured, abused, and sold off to foreign prisons for slave labor. This is not what the United States was founded upon. Due process of law is owed every single person on American soil as determined by the Fourteenth Amendment. Next up is American citizens being disappeared and not allowed to prove citizenship. Anyone who disagrees with the administration is not illegal. Do your job and impeach Trump NOW before we no longer have a Constitution at all. You are being complicit in the dismantling of our beloved Constitution and our country’s very fabric. Do your job and impeach Trump NOW!
