I'm writing to express my deep outrage over the constant mass shootings happening in the United States. This includes people I disagree with like Charlie Kirk. No one should be murdered because of their political opinions. No one. I ask that you take immediate legislative action to stop this epidemic of gun violence by... - Instituting universal background checks for ammo and gun buyers. - Closing the loophole that lets people buy guns at shows and through private sellers without background checks. - Funding evidence-based community anti-violence programs, like Ceasefire, which have been shown to reduce shootings.
