Congress needs to step in and stop Trump's unauthorized construction rampage across Washington, D.C. He tore down the White House East Wing for a personal ballroom, paved over the Rose Garden, botched the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, and is fast-tracking a 250-foot arch near Arlington National Cemetery — none of it authorized by Congress, none of it funded through proper channels. Every president before him went to Congress for approval and funding. He hasn't. This isn't beautification. Historian Tim Naftali put it plainly: Trump "hasn't acted just as a builder — he's acted as an owner. The president of the United States does not own the White House." Trump himself told New York Magazine he's building in "nuclear concrete" so Democrats can't tear it down after he leaves. He's admitted this is about him, not the country. Use your authority to cut off funding for these projects and demand congressional oversight before more of our shared national heritage is destroyed to feed one man's ego. This is the behavior of an egotistical dictator or a king, and we don't like kings in America. Impeach and remove Trump!
