Censure calls for arresting a governor

To: Sen. Slotkin, Sen. Peters, Rep. Barrett

From: A constituent in Lansing, MI

June 9

The president has just called for the arrest of a sitting governor. This is tyranny and an unmistakeable step toward authoritarianism. Especially because the governor has not done anything illegal. He has only disagreed with the president (and it is not only our right, but our obligation as citizens to be forceful in expressing our political views whether they agree with those in power or not). Please, as members of Congress, issue a formal censure against President Trump for calling for political violence.
