Thank you for demanding the Trump administration reverse the cancellation of more than $50 million in grants for local public safety efforts. Please emphasize that the Executive Branch has no legal authority to take back money authorized by Congress. It’s not enough to say the funds are needed. That argument was debated in Congress. Trump’s job is to execute not override.
