I’m reeling from the lies coming from Noem and Trump about the murder by ICE of Renee Good, a legal observer trained to observe ICE enforcement activities. This crime is just the most recent in a slew of 510 reported human rights violations including sexual assault, mistreatment of children and pregnant people. We must protect detainee’s and witnesses rights and safety by conducting public investigation into the conduct of ICE agents and detention facilities. Further, oppose federal funding that allows ICE to terrorize our neighborhoods and violate our due process rights. Finally, I am asking you to vigorously condemn this administration’s racist attacks on our immigrant communities.
