Oppose War With Iran and All Attacks on Civilians

To: Rep. Casar, Sen. Cornyn, Sen. Cruz

From: A constituent in Manor, TX

April 24

I'm calling on you to publicly oppose military strikes on Iran and vote against any authorization for further attacks on Iranian civilian infrastructure. The recent US bombing of Khatam-al-Anbiya Hospital in Tehran targeted a facility where nurses like Neda Salimi were caring for newborns. She pulled three babies from the rubble as walls collapsed around her. Bombing hospitals isn't a military strategy. It's a war crime and a crime against humanity that kills the most vulnerable and forces healthcare workers to choose between their own lives and their patients. Strikes on civilian infrastructure don't weaken governments. They kill ordinary people, destroy trust in American leadership, and create the conditions for decades of retaliation. Every hospital, school, and water treatment plant we destroy radicalizes another generation and makes Americans less safe. I need you to stand against this escalation now. Oppose funding for offensive operations against Iran, demand accountability for strikes on protected civilian sites, and support diplomatic solutions instead of military action that violates international law.
