The Cabinet needs to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove Donald Trump from office. His behavior this past week alone — blaming "radical left lunatics" and "Dumocats" on social media for a pool renovation his own administration botched, accusing a journalist of sabotage for showing peeling paint on camera, and claiming grass stenciling is a presidential threat — is not the conduct of a stable leader. It is erratic, paranoid, and unfit.
The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool fiasco tells the whole story. His administration rushed a $14 million renovation, Interior Department staff raised concerns about the contractor's speed and quality, and the result was green water and rubber peeling off the bottom within days of completion. Rather than accept accountability, Trump invented villains. A court has already rejected the claim that "86 47" constitutes a threat. He is manufacturing crises to distract from his own failures, and the country cannot afford that instability at the top of the executive branch.
The 25th Amendment exists precisely for this moment. I want you to publicly call on the Cabinet to act.
