Oppose reckless logging of national forests, prioritize conservation

Trump's plan to ramp up logging in national forests is misguided and will cause irreparable harm to our public lands and environment. Opening up protected areas for clear-cutting will release immense amounts of greenhouse gas emissions, exacerbating climate change. It also threatens endangered species like grizzly bears and spotted owls that rely on these forests for habitat. Clearcutting risks polluting air and water, degrading vital ecosystems. Rather than doubling down on unsustainable logging practices, we should invest in sustainable forestry that protects biodiversity and ecosystems. The lumber industry's short-term interests cannot come at the expense of damaging irreplaceable public lands. Responsible management of our national forests is crucial for preserving these natural treasures for future generations. I urge you to oppose Trump's reckless executive order and instead support policies that safeguard our federal forests and public lands through science-based conservation efforts and sustainable forest management. The destruction of these protected areas for the sake of corporate profits is unacceptable. Please prioritize environmental protection over industry interests.
