Tennessee is currently facing a critical landfill crisis, and the primary barrier to expanding our recycling infrastructure has always been funding. This historic legislation finally addresses that hurdle by creating a sustainable funding mechanism that provides the investment needed to expand access to recycling to 100% of Tennessee residents—all at no cost to taxpayers.
