Abandon the SAVE ACT HR22

To: Sen. Britt, Sen. Tuberville

From: A constituent in Hoover, AL

July 3

House Republicans have introduced the extreme anti-voter Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act (H.R. 22) and declared it among their top priorities. This bill would hinder millions of eligible Americans from registering to vote by requiring citizens to present a birth certificate or passport in person to register. Claims of widespread voter fraud by your party are unfounded and just more propaganda. The SAVE Act is designed to block eligible people from voting, not to protect elections.  Don’t allow the president to hold the Senate hostage, abandon the SAVE America Act. Congress should instead focus on more worthwhile legislation that will actually help Americans.
