Trump's "whole civilization will die tonight" threat sounds like the Python sketch in which a couple of gangsters try to shake down a British army officer for protection money: "Paratroopers? Pity if those were to catch fire." Somebody needs to wheel senile Uncle Don back to his room. Seriously, someone who can't grasp foreign policy, economics, law, or ethics and who can't even keep a grip on his own emotions should not command the military of a nuclear-armed nation. Trump has got to go. If the relevant people won't take action according to the 25th amendment, Section 4, then it falls to Congress to impeach and remove the threat as soon as possible. Trump has committed more than enough crimes to warrant that course of action.
