Protect vital programs, expand opportunities for all

To: Sen. Fetterman, Rep. Bresnahan, Sen. McCormick

From: A constituent in Kingston, PA

The House GOP tax plan would reduce federal revenues by over $4 trillion over the next decade, potentially putting funding for vital programs like Medicaid, education, and student aid at risk. Protecting access to affordable healthcare, quality education, and support for college students should be a top priority. Instead of doubling down on tax cuts that disproportionately benefit the wealthy and large corporations, we should focus on investments that strengthen the social safety net and expand opportunities for all Americans. Policies like voter ID laws also raise concerns about restricting access to the democratic process. I urge you to carefully consider the impacts of this tax legislation and prioritize the needs of everyday citizens over special interests.
